How Do We Get There?
If you use What3Words, you can find the precise location here:
The front of Victoria Hall is in Knowsley Street, but you need to access it on foot via the back door, which is via Palatine Street, then Ridgeway Gates. Palatine Street is located between McDonalds and Pound Stretcher on Victoria Road.
Which leads us to parking. You can no longer park at the back of Victoria Hall, but there are many car parks in and around Bolton town centre. The nearest is the Market Place car park or the car park on Topp Way. Details of Bolton Parking can be found here:
The Gig Itself
We will be playing at the following times:
11am-11.30am
12.30pm-1pm
1.30pm-2pm
You can play all of these sessions or just one or two sessions. It's up to you.
It is very informal. We won't be playing a formal gig, where we do a turn and people sit and watch us. We'll be playing on the stage while people mill about looking at stalls and doing activities.
Please bring your own stands.
What to Wear
It would be nice to wear suffragette colours: purple, white, green.
You don't have to be head-to-toe in these colours, maybe just a purple scarf or a green jumper, something like that. It would be good to have a mixture, rather than it being too uniform.
If you don't have any of these colours, that's fine too. Just wear what you want.
Practice Sessions
It is probably best if practice session are arranged by the area where you are based, as it is difficult getting everyone together at the same time.
